Who We Are
We believe that families are the backbone of our community. Live the Life is working to lower the divorce rate and strengthen marriages and families through skills-based relationship and marriage education and youth development programs. Live the Life has been supporting marriages in Florida for over 24 years and has provided access to relationship education to nearly 20,000 men and women in Northeast Florida. Our partners include non-profits, churches, schools, and corporations throughout Northeast Florida.

We use a powerful two-generation approach: Deploy proven marriage building resources to reduce the divorce rate in order to create a socially and economically prosperous community AND empower the next generation to make healthy choices that lead to generational success.
OUR Staff
Anita is passionate about public service. She previously worked as the Program Coordinator with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Along with her husband, she led the Keeping it REAL Singles Ministry. Her professional career is supported by a Master’s of Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University.
David grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and eventually followed God’s call on his life. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry in 1994 and has served as the pastor of Lighthouse Brunswick for over 20 years. With the joy of his life in his wife Susan and their 4 children, David understands the importance of healthy marriages and families and brings this experience to the Live the Life team.
Sarah received her Bachelor of Science in Media Ministry from Southeastern University. She has several years of experience serving in various roles at her home church. Sarah is also a freelance video editor and has used this skill to serve local nonprofits in Jacksonville.
Irene has worked in church ministry for over 30 years and is an ardent believer that God can use strong, healthy marriages to change the world. She was married for 26 years to her husband, Steve, who went home to be with the Lord, and they have two adult children. Irene loves spending time with her family and church family
